Amazon.com Product Description The Polar WearLink transmitter combines superior Polar technology with a new fabric design. The electrodes, which pick up the heart's signals, are engineered right into the fabric strap. The result is a superior fit for any individual body shape, providing revolutionary comfort and full freedom of movement. The transmitter's textile strap is removable and machine washable. Its clip-on mechanism ensures quick and easy wear, and the belt is easy to put on and take off. Polar's coded technology ensures that the user picks up only their heart signal, and not the signal of another heart rate monitor nearby. With millions of HRMs in use today, there's a good chance that someone working out next to you may also have one on. Interference from any other HRM is now eliminated and an accurate signal is ensured. About Polar The first EKG accurate wireless heart rate monitor was invented by Polar back in 1977 as a training tool for the Finnish National Cross Country Ski Team. The concept of "intensity training" by heart rate swept the athletic world in the eighties. By the 1990s, individuals were looking to heart rate monitors not only for performance training needs, but also for achieving everyday fitness goals. Today, the same concept of heart rate training is being used by world-class athletes as well as everyday people trying to lose weight. Polar is the leading brand among consumers, coaches, and personal trainers worldwide and the company is committed to not only producing the best products, but also being the leading educator on the benefits of heart rate based exercise.
Product Description The Polar WeerLink transmitter combines advanced Polar technology with a comfortable fabric design. The electrodes, which pick up the heart's signals, are engineered right into the fabric strap. This allows the it to fit individual body shapes while maintaining full freedom of movement.

Works wonders for your work out March 19, 2010 Tamara Simmonds (Carpentersville; IL) I lost my first polar wearlink and was miserable without it. I was very pleased to have found it on Amazon.com as it worked just as my first wearlink and it works wonders for your work-out!!
Perfectly Speedy! March 5, 2010 G. Mallari Delivered on time and true to size. Would definitely purchase from this seller again
Not as comfortable for me as the old strap but... February 24, 2010 Eggwhites & Cottage Cheese (Rhode Island) I have been using a Polar F6 for the past 2.5 years and the transmitter (w/ a non-replaceable battery) quit working a few weeks ago. I purchased this strap + transmitter as a replacement.
Pros: The transmitter is coded so I wont get funky readings while I'm at the gym. My old transmitter would read my HR as being in the 220s when I was on one of the newer treadmills - obviously some interference going on! Definitely not accurate.
The battery can be replaced.
The strap material is soft.
Cons: The transmitter itself is big and chunky and will show under your workout top if it's even remotely form-fitting.
It seems very "fussy" - the instructions for washing it after every use and making sure that you store the transmitter away from the strap...
The strap closure can dig into the skin a little.
I liked the low profile and comfort of the old style. But progress marches on and I'm sure that I'll grow accustomed to the new strap.
Good product but will not hold much more than a year February 6, 2010 M. Oz (IL) I am using Polar HRM for more than 10 years. The new belt is by far much more convenient, however even if you will be very careful with it - never wash it in the washing machine, wash it in cold water by hand and keep it straight all the time it will wear-out within less than 2 years. According to Polar it should hold about a year on daily use. I would expect more for such a price.
Perfect replacement strap February 2, 2010 Melissa W. (Los Angeles, CA) I have a Polar F6 heart rate monitor, and the strap for it was starting to wear really bad. I purchased this replacement strap, and was hoping it would be an easy fix, and it was!!
