This metronome is a nice little "musician's helper" - great for even a beginning student to get a sense of tempo, since a few common Italian terms (andante, allegro, etc.) are printed right on the metronome, along with the range of beats. It has a nice loud "tick" and even concert "A" - what student wouldn't love a little electronic gadget to go along with their lessons? Terrific bargain!

My usage for the this product was not for music but weight training. I slow burn train this is when you perform each individual exercise with deliberate slowness. I am able to accomplish this with the Matrix Metronome tempo range and audible beat w/ light or light only.

I've been very pleased with the metronome. It does everything it is supposed to do.
My big disappointment was that in ordering by the fastest service, it was the slowest order I've ever gotten.....not getting here within the 10 day period I actually needed it most. Good product so far. J.P.

If you need to actually HEAR a metronome over your music, this is NOT the metronome for you. This thing is sooooo quiet that it is only audible in a quiet room. Pointless!!! Save your money and buy a Dr Beat.

I've recommended two of these to piano students who had to return them because they're not loud enough to be heard when playing the piano. I don't recommend this metronome for piano students, especially if you want to play duets.
