Good product September 3, 2010 T. Pon my car used to get this strange smell when I turn off the AC and only using the fan. Now the strange smell is gone, Good product, only a couple dollar more than the regular cabin filter.
excellent! August 20, 2010 E. Machine Items sold as described! Perfect fit for my car as desired. Fitting took 48 seconds, no kidding! So much for garage services on gadgets like this!
Acura Tl- Honda Odyssey Cabin Filter July 28, 2010 filter user 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works great and fits many honda vehicles.
Really is a lot cheaper than having the dealer do it - saves about $60.00 for about 15 minutes work.
works. July 22, 2010 pan (sourthern ca) i like to run the air conditioner from when i start the car till i get out. lately ive gotten a little musty smell when i first start the car and have the fans going. with this, its gone.
i thought it was extremely simple to install, maybe because my acura was kind of pain.
Good replacement - DIY and save July 13, 2010 R. Olmstead (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This filter appears to be better constructed and with more carbon than the Honda OEM filter I replaced. I think one could argue that the need to regularly replace the air cabin filter is limited though vehicles that operate in a lot of dust might very well need the filter to be at least vacuumed every once in a while to maintain sufficient airflow. Certainly having a filter is better than not having one at all but my experience suggests that changing the cabin air filter is one of those extremely profitable dealer maintenance items: my local Honda dealer pegged the price at $99 for our Odyssey!! Far better in this case: buy the appropriate filter online, look up the replacement instructions for your vehicle online (many helpful people post pictures and/or videos), and save yourself a bunch of money and the time at the dealer (it was a 5 minute max chore). I bought two and figure this should do me for about 100k miles.
I considered rating it a 5 but reserve that for seeing how it holds up in use.
